SYDNEY LOFT

The home of this globe-trotting creative was layered with statement photography and globally sourced pieces that reflect a life well travelled.

Urban artefacts and ethnic-inspired furnishings sit in deliberate contrast to a sleek backdrop of modern technology and contemporary finishes. Peter had already established a strong foundation, completing thoughtful kitchen and bathroom renovations prior to our work together. The brief was not to rebuild, but to enrich.

Over a friendship spanning three decades, trust and collaboration allowed the loft to evolve naturally. What emerged is an expressive, worldly interior, an ethnic nod through styling, layered over a confident architectural base: resulting in a space that feels personal, masculine and unmistakably his.

“I am very happy with the outcome. From the beginning, I wanted the loft to feel chic and sophisticated; but most importantly, I wanted it to feel like me.

What we created is layered and personal. The photography, the global pieces, the contrast between technology and texture. It all tells my story. It doesn’t feel styled for someone else. It feels considered, collected and lived in.”
